Coconut Oil:  is a powerful moisturizer that can help to heal wounds and reduce inflammation. It also possess antimicrobial properties that can helpprotect the skin from harmful bacteria. (Our coconut oil was infused with Calendula Petals.)
 
Calendula:  the nourishing benefits of calendula help to reduce discomfort and help in the healing of wounds and irrations. It has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antifungal and antimicrobial properties.
 
Sunflower oil:  is rich in linoleic acid, an essential fatty acid that studies have shown can help maintain skin’s natural moisture barrier and prevent trans-epidermal water loss — a key cause of skin dryness.
 
Grapeseed Oil:  is a very light oil that can help to heal and reduce redness, also helping to tone and tighten skin. It also has anti-inflammatory properties.
 
Beeswax:  is generally used in cosmetics as a thickener and emulsifier. It helps to keep the balm somewhat hard so they remain solid at room temperature. Beeswax also puts a protective barrier on the affected area. (our beeswax is unrefined and sourced locally, so occasionly you may see small particles through the mix.)
